Error Messages and Error Codes

The following are an explanation of specific error codes that may appear if there is a problem with your washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher or refrigerator. In most cases it is recommended to book a service engineer to rectify this fault but there are certain things that you can do to minimise any inconvenience or even avoid an unnecessary engineer visit.

Washing Machines and Washer Dryers

  • E10 - No cold fill. Check that the taps are on or if the drain hoses are kinked.
  • E11 - No hot fill.The ambient temperature is likely to be below freezing possibly due to the pipes being frozen. Also check that the taps are on or if the drain hoses are kinked.
  • E12 - No mixed fill. It is likely that the water is not turned on at the taps.
  • E13 - Check the water supply, inlet valve and hot and cold hose connections.
  • E14 - A fault with the water heating has occurred. Book a service engineer 
  • E15 - Water is not being pumped out and a flood condition could occur. Check that the drainage hose is raised to the recommended minimum height and that the pipe is not blocked.
  • E16 - Extremely high water level Disconnect or turn off the water supply and ensure that the water level does not rise any more. Then Book a service engineer.
  • E17 - Door not closed properly. Close door firmly at the 3 o'clock position.
  • E20/1 - The thermistor resistance has drifted or the temperature scanning sequence is incorrect. The ambient temperature could be below freezing. Book a service engineer.
  • E30/31 - A motor drive problem has occurred. Try running the programme again. If the problem persists book a service engineer.
  • E40 - Water below protection level during a heat step. Book a service engineer.
  • E41 - Water level detect sequence incorrect. Book a service engineer.
  • E50/51 - Customer language and wash programme have not been saved. The system will run with default conditions (1000rpm max and English language). Book a service engineer to re-programme your product.

Refrigerators

  • E1 - Freezer thermistor open circuit. Book a service engineer.
  • E2 - Freezer thermistor short circuit. Book a service engineer.
  • E3 - Fridge thermistor open circuit. Book a service engineer.
  • E4 - Fridge thermistor short circuit. Book a service engineer.
  • E7 - Evaporator thermistor open circuit. Book a service engineer.
  • E8 - Evaporator thermistor short circuit. Book a service engineer.
  • E9 - Temperature set switch open circuit Book a service engineer.
  • EA - No feedback from Baffle Book a service engineer.
  • EB - Fridge Baffle motor operating continuously. Book a service engineer.
  • EE - Defrost time out. Book a service engineer.

Dishwashers

  • E10 - Fill or empty time out. Check that the hoses are not kinked, that the taps are on or whether the drain pump or     hose is blocked.
  • E11 - Heater timed out. The heater has not reached the required level. Book a service engineer.
  • E20 - Temperature under range. Book a service engineer. .
  • E21 - Temperature over range. Book a service engineer.

Fault codes for LCD Dishwasher Models

  • A01 - Float switch operated - Book a service engineer.
  • A02 - Open/Short circuit heater relay - Book a service engineer.
  • A03 - Short circuit on thermistor - Book a service engineer.
  • A04 - Unable to reach or sense temperature within 70 minutes - Book service engineer.
  • A05 - Pressure switch has not been reset - Book a service engineer.
  • A07 - Open/Short circuit wash motor triac - Book a service engineer.
  • A08 - Open/Short circuit auxiliary wash motor triac - Book a service engineer.
  • A09 - Open/Short circuit with main wash traic - Book a service engineer.
  • A10 - Open/Short circuit fill valve traic - Book a service engineer.
  • A11 - Half load valve traic or alternating motor action - Book a service engineer.
  • A12 - Open circuit heater rely - Book a service engineer.
  • A13 - Open/Short circuit dispenser traic - Book a service engineer.
  • A14 - Drain hose too low causing syphoning. Check drain hose and re-adjust.
  • H20 - Check tap and pressure of incoming water.

Fault codes for LCD Tumble Dryer

  • F01 - Short circuit motor traic - Book a service engineer.
  • F02 - Motor jammed or fan blocked - Book a service engineer.
  • F03 - Front thermistor open/short circuit - Book a service engineer.
  • F04 - No pump piloting - Book a service engineer.
  • F05 - No feedback from the pump - Book a service engineer.
  • F08 - Static heater relay with contact welded closed - Book a service engineer.
  • F09 - Eeprom is not programmed or not functioning - Book a service engineer.
  • F10 - Common of heater open or one shot open - Book a service engineer.
  • F11 - No pump connection - Book a service engineer.
  • F12 - Communication error between boards - Book a service engineer.
  • F13 - Rear thermistor open/short circuit - Book a service engineer.
  • F15 - Dynamic heater relay with contact welded closed - Book a service engineer.
  • F-17 - Mater relay welded closed - Book a service engineer.

  • F05 - Pressure switch jammed on full - Book a service engineer.
  • F06 - Program selector error - Book a service engineer.
  • F07 - Heater relay stuck - Book a service engineer. 
  • F08 - Heater relay cannot be activated - Book a service engineer. 
  • F09 - Incompatible eeprom - Book a service engineer. 
  • F10 - Pressure switch not sensing correctly - Book a service engineer. 
  • F11 - Pump cannot be activated - Book a service engineer. 
  • F12 - Communication error - Book a service engineer.
